CREATION OF PROTAGONISTS

Hello everyone, to start with the blog, we are going to introduce the protagonists of our adventure and tell you a little about the research and development they went through.

THE FIRST IDEA

When we had the idea of ​​making a rhythm game in a medieval fantasy world clear, we knew that we had to put some minstrels as protagonists, so we were making concepts with different styles and each person on the team made their designs for the protagonists, we tried in cartoon, realistic, anime, until we came up with the idea that we liked the most.

We were left with a stylized 2D cartoon design, which had contrasting colors. We wanted the protagonists to be brothers, so we looked for a way to give them similarity or relationship, we have tried complementary colors or use the same style of clothing for both.

To add, we are working on a mascot that accompanies our characters, we thought the idea of ​​including a rooster was fun, since the protagonists will have their origins on a farm.

CHARACTERS

ELIOT

He is a 17-year-old boy and lives on a small farm with his sister.

He is restless, disobedient and very clueless.

He is characterized by always getting into trouble and sneaking out of it.

When it comes to playing music, he is a prodigy on any instrument.

His only family is his older sister who he sometimes annoys with her actions, but still has admiration for her.

MEL

She is a 19-year-old girl who lives on a small farm with her brother.

He is a very cheerful person with a very pure heart.

She is characterized by her wit and ability to fix any instrument with a magical touch. Her only family is her little brother and she turns out to be very overprotective of him.

His favorite instrument is the lyre and any stringed instrument.

SR. GALLUS

It is the most faithful pet.

He is very affectionate with his owners and a little goofy.

When Mel and Eliot are in danger, it becomes a beast, and activates its most violent instinct against whoever threatens them, it will not rest until it is knocked out.

These would be the characters for now, in the future we will work on more characters to build the story.
